A perfect way to celebrate the Holiday Season with Jolly Products

Christmas and New Year, mean thanksgiving celebration with delicious foods and a quality time for our family. We can't call it a celebration without the presence of mouthwatering and delectable dishes on the table. There are lots of dishes I wanted to cook for this holiday season and want to try cooking on my own.

Grateful of Jolly for the Christmas gift I received. Now, I can try cooking some of our favourite menus using the wide variety of Jolly products with my Sox Bloggers family at Brielle's Happy Kitchen. It is a kitchen where you can cook anything in there without worrying the ingredients, its my dream kitchen. It is owned by a good friend who cooks and bakes delicious dishes with love and perfection. We spent half of the day cooking and baking from main dish up to dessert. 

These are the four delicious dishes we prepared:

  1. "Jolly" Beef Stroganoff
  2. "Jolly" Carbonara with green peas
  3. "Jolly" Corn Muffins
  4. "Jolly" Lychee Delight
If you will ask me which one i love the most, I would say it is the "Jolly Carbonara with Green Peas". The sauce is so creamy and tastes so good. That's why, I'll be generous today. I will share to you the secret on how to prepare and cook this pasta recipe. Lets go first with the INGREDIENTS.

  • 230g Jolly Green Peas
  • 298g Jolly Cream of Mushroom
  • 250g shredded Bacon
  • 3-5 Egg yolks
  • 80g Butter
  • 500g Spaghetti noodles
  • 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup pure cream
  • 1 Clove of garlic and Onion, minced
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese
Method:
  1. Cook pasta in a large saucepan of salted boiling water according to packet instructions. Drain well.
  2. Meanwhile, heat a large fry pan over high heat. Add oil, butter, onion. garlic, bacon and green peas. Cook, stirring for 5 minutes or until bacon is crisp and green peas is tender.
  3. Add the Jolly Cream of Mushroom and all purpose cream. Bring to boil. Simmer 2 minutes and put the egg yolks and stir well in a low heat until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper. 
  4. Add lemon zest for a great taste. 


Serve on top with Parmesan cheese and this is best paired with a toasted bread. Enjoy!
